You can download an XML file suited for use with the NY State ID Card Generator software (https://www.dmv.ny.gov/id-card/id-card-generator). Steps
  1. Find the vehicle in the client's account
  2. Click [ ID Card ]
  3. Select the policy (if the policy is not showing in the selection box, you should edit the vehicle to link it to the policy)
  4. Fill in the registrant information (if the vehicle registrant is not showing in the selection box, you should edit the policy to link the corresponding named insured who will be registering the vehicle)
  5. Confirm the other options for the ID card
  6. Click [ Download ]
  7. Save the generated XML file to your PC
  8. Open the NY State ID Card Generator software
  9. Click [ File ] > [ Load ID Card ]
  10. Select the XML file you saved in step 6
  11. Confirm the information correctly pre-filled the forms in the ID Card generator
  12. Click [ File ] > [ Print ID Card ]
